Q.
What Happens in a BodyTalk Session?
A. In a BodyTalk session the BodyTalk
practitioner consults the bodys innate intelligence by
means of neuromuscular biofeedback or muscle testing.
Using this gentle muscle testing and a comprehensive
protocol of questions, the body gives the practitioner an
indication of the priorities in the healing process. The
priorities often consist of multiple parts/systems that need
to link into each other. This feedback enables the
practitioner to put a picture together for the client of
which aspects of the body are priorities, require
re-balancing or need restored communication.
The practitioner then addresses these
priorities through touching the area of priority this
touching is done by the client or practitioner. The
practitioner then uses gentle tapping first on the head and
then on the sternum to facilitate, register and store the
links in the brain and heart complex. The client is asked to
do deep breathing during the tapping process. This process
enhances integral functioning and interconnection within the
body.
The tapping on the brain allows
awareness to be brought to the areas of priority that a link
is being made. The tapping on the sternum allows the heart
complex to register, store and implement the changes.
Subsequent sessions are used to
addresses reconnecting links at new levels related to
patterns identified in an initial session or perhaps to
address additional or new client goals.
